The Republic of Moldova, signed and approved European Charter of local Autonomy has assumed the responsibility to respect and realized it’s provisions. To a Charter ratification, Republic of Moldova didn’t submit any derogations, which assume the full application of Charter’s provisions. The study generalized the experience of Republic of Moldova in local autonomy domain and it assess the impact of this document on the edification of the system of local Governments, the measure where the Charter’s provisions are reflected in national legislation as well as application in their practice.
