As a result of radical transformational processes already covering the second decade in the post-Soviet area, the whole population of this area has to adapt to the changing social, economic and political circumstances. As a component part of them there were intense migratory processes that occurred during this period throughout the post-Soviet area. In this regard, of particular relevance are the issues of social and psychological adaptation of migrants caught up in new ethniccultural and social-economic circumstances.
