Various aspects of the Belarusian - Moldovan relations were the subject of investigations of a number of scientists from Belarus and Moldova. At the same time the significance of this topic and interest in it to a large extent are explained by the tendency of studying the experience of peaceful coexistence between the Belarusian and Moldovan peoples for more than a 600-year history. There is no doubt that historically established good relations between the two nations nowadays make it easier to find a consensus on various issues of international, political, economic and cultural cooperation.
