| Rezumat | ||||||
The accuracy assessment of thematic maps generated from remotely sensed data has become an integral
project component. This is a prerequisite for validation of the generated spatial data. Nowadays,
remotely sensed data is becoming intensively used for production of thematic maps in the Republic of
Moldova. However, these maps are not the subject of accuracy assessment at this moment. Hence, this study presents a model for accuracy assessment of a high-resolution thematic map of land cover/land use, which could be used as an example for an appropriate accuracy assessment or validation of thematic maps generated from remotely sensed data. |
