| Rezumat | ||||||
The aim of the study was to determine the perinatal morbidity and mortality among children from multiple gestations. There were analyzed 788 twins who needed to be hospitalized in the intensive care and neonatal resuscitation unite in two perinatal centers of III level in Chisinau, for the period from 2005 until 2010. The main diseases in the group of children from multiple births were: infants respiratory distress syndrome (IRDS), prematurity, neonatal sepsis, intracranial hemorrhage. Perinatal mortality in twin pregnancies for a 6 years period formed 51,6‰, compared to 10,5‰ in cases of singletons. |
