The essence and components of the quality of activity of local public authorities are studied. International standards of quality management in public authorities are analyzed in order to implement them in Ukraine to ensure the quality of public administration. It is emphasized that the application of ISO 18091: 2019 guidelines on adapting the procedural approach to local self-government bodies is extremely important in Ukraine, given the need to form a comprehensive system of control activities in the field of administrative services and increase the participation of civil society institutions in public monitoring projects. own activities and their regulations. The existing problems of implementation of quality management systems in local public authorities are identified and ways to solve them are outlined in order to meet the needs of consumers of public services and residents.
