The authors present the literature review the up-to-date concept and definitions of polytrauma. The interpretation of “injury” definition is discussed, fact that requires a unique system of injury severity appreciation, as well as the definition of “associated trauma”. The authors present different classifications of polytrauma according to the clinical and anatomical principles, as well as the trauma evolution periods. These guidelines emphasize the diagnostic problems and develop optimal tactics for surgical injuries treatment of children with associated trauma.

На основе данных литературы, автор предлагает алгоритм оказания помощи детям с сочетанной травмой. В статье рассматривается понятие "сочетанной травмы», которая требует единой системы для оценки тяжести и прогноза травмы. Представлены различные классификации, клинические и анатомические принципы эволюции сочетанной травмы у детей. Эти принципы подчеркивают важность своевременной диагностики и выработки оптимальной тактики хирургического лечения детей с сочетанной травмой.
