Based on the collection (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae) stored in the museum of the Entomology laboratory „Boris Vereshcheaghin” within the Institute of Zoology, an inventory of 20 species of staphylinids from the genus Philonthus Stephens, 1829 was carried out. The paper presents the second part of the 40 species registered in the collection register. According to the model of the first work dedicated to the respective group (part 1), for each species the point, the date of collections made by different specialists in the entomological field, the biotope, the substrate and the number of specimens are presented.
