Rezumat

The multiphonon-assisted impurity absorption of light is analyzed theoretically. The bound state is described in terms of the zero-radius potential model. The obtained frequency dependence of the light absorption coefficient and the full widths at half maximum (FWHMs) of the absorption lines are compared with experimental data.
