General-purpose programming languages are those that are meant to handle a broad variety of activities, such as scientific computing, data analysis, web development, and software engineering. The objective of this paper is to offer an overview of general-purpose languages, covering their characteristics, usage, and features. The article examines the advantages and disadvantages of utilizing general-purpose languages, as well as some of the most popular and commonly used general-purpose languages. |
