Rezumat

The crystal structure of a binary malonate, K2[VO(C3H2O4)2H2O] · 3H2O, is determined from 3486 unique reflections to R = 0.0496; a = 21.331(8), b = 13.793(7), c = 10.695(4) Å, γ = 69.16(3)°, Z = 8, space group P21/b, ρ(calcd) = 1.885(3) g/cm3. The crystal is composed of the [VO(C3H2O4)2H2O]2- complex anions, potassium cations, and solvate water molecules combined into a three-dimensional framework.
