The principle of separation of powers in the modern state has become a specific form of embodiment of the concept of the same name, the ideas of which appeared in ancient times, and it was transformed into a coherent theory in the era of bourgeois transformations. Today, the principle of separation of powers is an obligatory attribute of democracy and the rule of law. In this article, the author reviews and analyzes modern doctrinal sources devoted to the study of various aspects of the principle of separation of powers, revealing the variety of approaches to its true essence and significance in the organization of the state mechanism and ensuring the rights and freedoms of the individual. |
