Constructivist theories define learning as a very sophisticated process of representation and organization of information which is generated by the fusion with the environment. They are emphasizing a concept based on the person being active who is using his cognitive processes to represent the events to predict the future, to choose for the best option for action, to socialize and simply to find his role in life. There are rejected the alternative conceptions on the person, which consider the personality as a passive victim of unconscious impulses and his past, he is not viewed as a passive actor exposed to external incentives. |
