The international cooperation of the states in the field of struggle against criminality is the important component of the international attitudes at the present stage. This area is included into the internal competence of the state as criminality as socially legal phenomenon has as a whole national character determined by set of social and economic in given state social and economic, legal and other factors. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republic Moldova together with Office of Public Prosecutor both the interested ministries and departments participate in performance of obligations of our country on all basic directions of interstate cooperation in struggle against criminality. It to the full concerns and to questions of struggle against criminal encroachments on cultural values and maintenance of their safety. From the beginning 60ő years in the world similar crimes have received unprecedented distribution, becoming{beginning} in many countries on the second place after smuggling drugs. According to the Interpol, in the world 450-500 products of painting, sculpturings, subjects of a religious cult, archeologic values and other products and monuments of different epoch and peoples are annually abducted. It is annually abducted the specified subjects for the sum of some billions dollars. Thefts and resale of subjects of art are officially recognized as the Interpol crimes of the international character.
