The responsibility for well-being of employees is divided between employer and employees which can create an optimal framework for maintaining it. In this order we investigated the organizational climate and job satisfaction of employees from different types of organization (public and private) as components of well-being. As results we can mention that the scores of employees from public institution is higher for all the investigatd variables, the employees from private institutions surpass them only on variables „motivation” and „interpersonal relations”. Statistics differences were established for following variables: task, change, performance, job satisfaction, interpersonal relations.
