Rezumat

Worldwide, due to alcohol consumption, annually about 3.3 million died. of people, represent 5.9% of all deaths. The research material was based on information from the National Center for Health Management. Data has been processed through Microsoft Excel. The study determines the high incidence of alcoholism in the Republic of Moldova, which ranges from la 107,40/0000 in 2006 to 91,00/0000 in 2015. The highest incidence is registered in 2009 (129.90/0000). The incidence of alcoholic psychosis was 20.80/0000 in 2006, then declining to 17.10/0000 in 2015. The prevalence of alcoholism was 1282. 00/0000 in 2006 and 1315. 10/0000 in 2015 . By 2015, 46741 persons with chronic alcoholism were registered in the Republic of Moldova. From the total number of people diagnosed with alcoholism and alcoholic psychoses, over 80% are male. At the same time, the gender share of people has variations in relation to development regions (RDDs). The analysis of the incidence of alcoholism and alcoholic psychoses on RDD identified high values through alcoholism in RDD "UTA Gagauzia" (140, 10/0000) and alcoholic psychoses for RDD "Center" (27, 20/0000). The high prevalence of alcoholism is very big in the population of RDD "South" (1624, 70/0000) and alcoholic psychoses for RDD "Center" (35,00/0000). In conclusion, we find that in the Republic of Moldova, alcoholism and alcoholic psychoses are a public health problem. Effective control requires the provide of specialized and psychological medical assistance to each family and person who will need help.
