Rezumat

Medicinal hepatoprotector plants that grow in Republic of Moldova have been studied and their chemistry composition responsible of hepatoprotector action has been characterized. Hepatitis is a problem for Republic of Moldova from two points of view: social – medical and economical, and the assessment of medicinal plants that improves the function of liver is very important. Objectives of the study: The purpose of this study was assessment of medicinal plants with hepatoprotectoreffect, that grow in Republic of Moldova, and evaluation of the List of Authorized Drugs in Republic of Moldova (vegetal products, medicinal species, phytodrugs used for its hepatoprotective effect). Materials and methods: Medicinal hepatoprotector plants were selected by scientific publications, noticed by determinatory, just plants that grow in Republic of Moldova. Medicinal plants also have been analyzed by Pharmacopoeia reference and List of Authorized Drugs. In results: All medicinal plants contain in bigger or smaller amount flavonoids and vitamins, which have hepatoprotector effect, by capturing free radicals. Also flavonoids increase physiological effects of other antioxidants like vitamins E and C. In top of medicinal plants with hepatoprotector action, by the List of Authorized Drugs, are: Silybummarianum with 31 pharmaceutical products, followed by Calendula officinalis18, Menthapiperita– 13, Rosa canina - 13, Zea mays – 13, Achilleamillefolium– 13, Hypericumperforatum – 12, Chelidoniummajus– 11, Urticadioica– 9, Taraxacumofficinale– 8, Glycyrrhyzaglabra–8, Cynarascolymus– 6, Helechrrysumarenarium– 5, Melilotusofficinalis – 4, Symphytumofficinale – 4, Berberis vulgaris – 2, Capsella bursa pastoris– 1. Conclusions: This study has revealed the top of medicinal hepatoprotector plants that grow in Republic of Moldova, and selecteted by hepatoprotectivephytodrugs from the List of Authorized Drugs, according to the ATC classification.
