Rezumat

Bronze objects from the Bronze Age constitute a specific category in the period inventory. This is due to the way they are obtained, through the technological complexity required to obtain them, but also through the social and economic implications they give. The interdisciplinary research on this category of objects allows the understanding of the technological processes in their production, casting, hammering, decoration techniques and the way of use. CT can highlight possible casting defects as well as how the surrounding environment has affected the object through corrosion processes. Our study presents the results of the analysis on a fragment of a bronze sword, the Krasnyj Majak type, dated in the Late Bronze Age, which we were able to highlight the way it was cast, the internal structure as well as the interventions and repairs undergone later.
