This article will give a brief overview on the level of development of insurance systems in some developed countries, a general description of the insurance market in the Republic of Moldova, as well as determine the goals and objectives of insurance in the Republic of Moldova. In addition, it will determine the impact of the economic crisis on the insurance market development, will draw conclusions on how to create and develop a modern national insurance system in the Republic of Moldova, as well as identify the place and role of social insurance in the social protection system. |
