The marital status structure of population and its evolution in the Republic of Moldova. Reporting persons to their marital status gives us valuable information about multiple demographic events such as the marriage, divorce, fertility. Composition of population by marital status is important in terms of population reporting to the institution of family, degree of emancipation and preservation of traditional values in relation to the family, actually representing the status of each person's identity. From this point of view the development of population by marital status criteria in time and space gives us valuable information on the population of the Republic of Moldova in the context of its sustainable development. |
