The central aim of this paper is to clarify the status of art-therapy, considered like one of the most controversial field in psychoterapy. Aparently, the mariagge between art and psychoterapy is impossible. The object of the different kind of art is the domain of the possible and the object of psychoterapy is the reality of mental illness. One of them is simbolic, unic and subjective in its nature, the other pretend to be objective, general and scientific. In spite of this, we will try to persuade in our paper that the union between art and terapy is not only possible, but is one of the most interesting example of „simbiotic” process between a nonscientific domain and a scientific one.
