Rezumat

The article considers the problems of increasing the educational motivation of students to study history. The sociocultural context of the era is the loss of students' interest in reading, in the text, in the story, the decrease in the importance of collective identity, the increase in the importance of virtual reality requires a revision of the approach to the problem of increasing educational motivation to study history. The teacher must be ready to provide the student with the opportunity for self-realization through the implementation of creative and practice-oriented tasks. It is necessary to offer students tasks in the field that interests them - in the virtual field. Depending on the cultural context, you can rely on an interest in the history of the region or the history of the family.
