Dimitrie Gusti (1880-1955), an internationally reputed Romanian sociologist, was also a well-known militant in the field of the written and radio press. During the interwar period he was the founder of scientific journals of European value and circulation, president of the Romanian Broadcasting Society and the initiator of the sociological documentary film. His paperwork on “the law of press”, written in the early XXth century, remains an important landmark in the history of journalism everywhere.
