The article is part of a series of studies focused on the problems of Romanian literature from the twentieth century to the beginning of the twenty-first century. This time, the author emphasizes the correlation between literature and culture, highlighting the importance of coagulating the creative forces of post-war Bessarabia for overcoming the domination of communist ideology. It analyzes the creative biography of Ion Ungureanu, a prominent personality, actor, director, politician, promoter of culture and literature in post-war Bessarabia.
