Rezumat

The article is devoted to the rational allocation of training means speed and speed-strength preparation of short distance runners in one-year macrocycle periods. The results of the surveys in which Ukrainian coaches were interviewed regarding rankings of the main training means in preparation of sprinters in order of significancу and with regard to the period of preparation.
