Rezumat

Use   of   the   accelerated   aging   (AA)   test   of   seeds   and   determination   of   their  morphophysiological and biochemical parameters allowed estimation of storage potential of the  eggplant accessions from active collections of the plant gene bank of Moldova. According to storage  potential (SP) of seeds, the genotypes of eggplants were grouped by their potential abilities to  maintain viability after being exposed to high temperature and humidity  (air  temperature  during   AA-test:  44–45°C,  air  humidity:  90–l00%,  aging period: 72 hours). These data are important for  taking seed material for long-term storage in plant gene bank for ex situ conservation.
