Rezumat

The emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic caused a new global economic crisis and had a major impact
on the labor market
Isolation measures have affected 81% of the world's workforce, some 2,700 million workers have lost
their livelihoods and many are at risk of global recession, structural economic change and automation.
Thus, we can say that the labor market is constantly changing, and the process is accelerated for many
reasons: the economy is strongly transformed by the pandemic; revolutionary technologies are emerging that
bring digitization and automation
Unlike other crises, the one we are facing now is the consequence of an unpredictable situation that has
forced the design of new formulas to support employment, reinvention and quick decisions. Measures such as
reducing working time or technical unemployment can ensure that the impact on the labor market is less
pronounced, it varies greatly depending on the different sectors of activity.
Green jobs are an opportunity on the labor market in the Siret-Prut-Dniester Euroregion, in industries
that will succeed in reducing or completely eliminating carbon emissions. In agriculture alone, it is estimated
that responding to the climate emergency will create 200 million full-time jobs globally by 2050.
