| Rezumat | ||||||
On 15 April 2021, the National Assembly of the Council of Europe adopted the draft law on "global security" at second and last reading with 75 votes in favor and 33 against. According to Article 24, "the challenge of identifying a national police officer, a customs officer when on duty, a member of the national gendarmerie or a municipal police officer when acting in the context of a police operation for the obvious purpose of affect physical or psychological integrity, shall be punished by five years' imprisonment and a fine of EUR 75,000. Article 24 of the draft law provides, inter alia, for the completion of the law of 29 July 1881 on freedom of the press. |
