Rezumat

This paper contains studies concerning development of agricultural products wastes derived from grapes processing. Vegetal oils obtained from grape seeds are appreciate products for food, cosmetical and pharmaceutical industries because of its antioxidant activity. Tannins are utilized for manufacturing of strong beverages and for obtaining of pharmaceutical products due to its antiseptical properties. On the other hands, grape seeds represent a reasonable local raw material for obtaining of new types of active carbons. Thus, grape seeds can serve as regenerable raw materials for obtaining of new products. Anterior researches conducted at the Institute of Chemistry of Academy of Sciences of Moldova have shown that the grape seeds contain 10-20% of oil and 3-14% of tannins depending on sorts of grape and sugar content in fruit juice. Oils were extracted with hexane wile tannins with ethanol of 96%. Grape seeds, after extraction of oil and tannin were used for obtaining of active carbons by two methods, chemical one with phosphoric acid and physical-chemical method with water stream.
