This article observes the situation of the touristic sphere development in small towns of Ukraine. The author writes about the opportunities which bring to the positive result of the infrastructure developing in the regions which are not that evolved as well-known health-resort places. As an example the author is analyzing small resort town Skadovsk, Kherson oblast in Ukraine. There are some facts in the article which explain poor funding of the town development budgets. In conclusions the author shows the necessity of the tourism development in Ukraine in general.
