The post-Cold War period approaches on security and defence, small state and South-Eastern European localization issues were marked by a relative conceptual con- fusion and, although, the field’s literature elaborated more tomes, articles and much paperwork, the situation doesn’t seem to get clearer. In this article, we present a con- ceptual scheme based on three key-terms (conceptual landmarks): security, small state and South-Eastern Europe, which allow our theme’s issues thoroughness from a united perspective on its time-space dimension through a causality view and renouncing to metaphors. Starting from the theoretical bases existent in the specialty’s scientific literature we suggest to the interested persons, especially to the teenagers with preoccupations in the specified field, some scientific working instruments and research methodologies useful for security analyses of the European South-Eastern small states, as the Mol- davian Republic.
