The repertoire of translations in the Romanian language of literary dramas of high world value is rich and various in our country. An important place in the list of translators of dramas in our country is occupied by C. Condrea, R. Portnoi, J. Barjanschi, A. Cosmescu, V. Belistov, etc. There is a series of dramatic authors who are great favourites with our translators: Goethe, M. Gorki, M. Lermontov, A. Ostrovski, A. Cehov. Our translators should contribute more actively in propagating the theatrical art. |
