Rezumat

This research paper deals with the impact of the school principal's management style on the motivation and self-satisfaction of teachers. The assumption is that highly motivated teachers positively affect students' achievement. The purpose of the work is to examine the various management styles that are common among principals in the Arab sector in Israel. The questions that will be asked and answered include: what are the characteristics of each management style and how each style affects the motivation and self-satisfaction of the teachers. The motivation and self-satisfaction serve in my research as intervening variables that affects my dependent variable which is students’ achievement. The research question is: how does the principal's management style affect teachers' self-satisfaction and motivation and how do these variables affect students’ performance in the Arab sector in Israel. There are three management styles that will be examined: Transformations, Transactional, and Avoidance.
