Rezumat

The paper overviews public policies adopted world-wide during the beginning of Covid-19 pandemic period. Information taken into account refer to date of the first registered case, followed by date of adopting the state of emergency, the closure of borders, at home isolation of population, intra-community transmission and the doubling of the number of cases of illness and of deaths.
