Rezumat

The development of modern industrial and agricultural techniques drove to obtain of chemical synthetic compounds. Many of these compounds contaminated the water sources. Among all inorganic compounds, the chromium in his hexavalent form (Cr6+) is most active as well as the cancerigen agent, or as the mutagen agent. This ion is toxic in all system studied. The paper work is a brief revue of some methods for the reduction of hexavalet ions of chromium, to trivalent ions, and their possibility of elimination from wasted water.
