This article examines the features of past tense verb forms in the English language, taking into account both species and temporal characteristics of verb forms, and identifies 4 paradigmatic categories: main (Indefinite), long (Continuous), perfect (perfect), perfect-long (Perfect-continuous). In the context of these discharges, six forms are defined that can be attributed to the plan of the past: the preterit of the main discharge, the past time of the long discharge, the present perfect, the present perfect-long discharge, the past perfect and the past time form of the perfect-long discharge. |
