The current landscape reserve „Climăuţii de Jos” has 668 ha of: natural forests – 240,8 ha (36,05%), artifi cial forests – 341,2 ha (51,08%) and forestless land 86,0 ha (12,9 %). Floristic composition is represented by 166 species of vascular plants out of which 19 are rare plants under State protection Law, and 4 species are listed in the Red Book of R.Moldova (Bulbocodium versicolor (Ker-Gaw.) Spreng., Athyrium fi lix-femina (L.) Roth., Gymnocarpium robertianum (Hoffm.) Newm., Galanthus nivalis L.). Natural forests consist of phytocenosis associations of Querco(roboris)-Carpinetum betuli So et Poes (1931), 1957, subass. Cornosum n.n., Ceraso(avium)-Quercetum (roboris) Gheideman şi col., 1964 and also of communities representative for rock forests, that might fi t into Ceraso(mahaleb)Quercetum (roboris-petraea) n.n. asociation, a new association for Nistru river rocks and probably for Republic of Moldova as well (synthetic table is formed based of 5 descriptions). Artifi cial forests represents mostly monoculture of acacia (246,1 ha). |
