Rezumat

The essay explores advantages and disavantages examining social ( dis)advantage. The relation between them is an intimate one. To be educated in life is to be afforded the opportunities, greater economic activity and higher earnings. Education has been a priority sector when considering foreign aid allocation since the 1970s. The stated objective has been to ensure universal acces to basic education with a more recent emphasis on quality and outcomes.
