Cum se construiește un destin (How to Build a Destiny) is an article based on the memoir volume entitled Fata lui Iosif/Joseph’s Daughter (Primus Publishing House, Oradea, 2023), signed by Taisia Panfilov, an author originating from Bessarabia. As the presentation of the book unfolds, the exegete mainly describes the memoirist’s life and career (a former mathematics teacher, as well as a school principal), but she also considers aspects related to the history of the Romanians situated between the rivers Prut and Dniester (the last century), with all its vicissitudes. The fact that suffering and injustice neither inhibited Taisia PranițchiPanfilov’s “inner destiny”, nor perverted her character, is also highlighted in the article. On the contrary, the two were built through trials that strengthened her personality and reconfirmed her trust in genuine values within every new challenge. |
