Rezumat

In the present article we will try to examine which of the factors have an effect on happiness and well-being. Happiness is defined as the accumulation of items in positive psychology. A happy person is a person who often experiences positive feelings such as: joy, interest and pride and less negative feelings such as sadness, anxiety and anger. Happiness can also be linked to life satisfaction, moments of happiness and more. Mostly, a positive experience is section of emotions. Well-being is defined as a sense of health, happiness and prosperity. In addition, mental well-being, high satisfaction from living standards, and a sense of belonging. Both, happiness and well-being are dramatic factors that influence our important decisions in life like motherhood. We will try to understand the mean factors, important to consider ways to increase the happiness and well-being of society because of happiness. Most of literature review showed that high level strivings were associated with more psychological distress, particularly depression. Low level striving was related to higher levels of physical illness. The research that studied the associations between personal values and happiness revealed that prioritizing religion is the most likely to happiness more that prioritizing social relationships, clouding family, friends and neighbors. Those who prioritized extrinsic achievements like money, power, word, as well as health were least likely to be happy.
