Reflecing about the evolution of the planetary precession transmissions related to the „molecular transmissions”, nominated for the Nobel Prize in 2016, we conclude that the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences on October 5th, 2016 has awarded the Nobel Prize to the researchers Jean-Pierre SAUVAGE from France (Strasbourg University), J. Fraser STODDART from the USA (North-Western University) and Bernard L. FERINGA from the Netherlands (Groningen University) for the work „Design and synthesis of the molecular machinery”. This event laid the foundations of a new era in machinology due to the research at the junction of the molecular chemistry and fine mechanics fields. The scientific research related to the mechanic transmissions, engines, devices, robots and the molecular size machinery will represent a new area of reseach and innovation with great perspectives.
