The development of the accountancy profession is not possible without the development of the professional movement in the form of the creation and activity of community professional organizations. Experience in the development of national institute of the professional accountants of the agricultural sector is associated with the unification of experts into the professional organization in 2003 - the Federation of auditors, accountants and financiers of AIC (Agro-Industrial Complex) of Ukraine (FAAF AICU). The purpose of the creation and activity of the Federation is to unite the efforts of its members in order to assist with the development, and increase the status of the auditors, accountants and financiers professions; and to promote the development and improvement of new and existing mechanisms of organization and methodology of accounting, control and finance in the agricultural production. The Federation links the development of the accountancy profession first of all with the implementation of their own educational product - A comprehensive program of the improvement of the professional knowledge of agro-industry accountants. With the support of the Federation, the Institute of accounting and finance provides training according to their own nationwide program for professional certification (CAPA - Certified Agribusiness Professional Accountant and CAPS - Certified Accountant of Public Sector). The orientation of the CAPA / CAPS programs on the development of the accounting profession provides for the development and strengthening of human resources and the ensuring of the high level of specialists in accounting in business entities; the formation of the institute of accountants, the increase of the accountants' status in the system of branch management and in the enterprises of the agricultural sector. The CAPA / CAPS programs remain the first and only products of the professional training in Ukraine, that have international recognition and in depth directions in the agricultural and budgetary accounting and strong consumers' potential (over 62 thousand accountants).
