The depression represents a negative emotional feeling, accompanied by more or less intense moral pain and, also, by wantonness and devalued ideas. When the depression increases too much, the person can have different suicidal thoughts. The depression represents one of the most frequent behavior disorders which can be meet at every age, almost 10% from general population suffering from that cause. The suicide represents a psycho-pathologic behavior by which the person tries to suppress his own life in a volition way. Some myths consider that children and teenagers have not enough force to commit suicide, but statistic data prove the contrary. Therefore, in the present paper, we will try to approach the topic of depression and suicide in a psycho-pedagogic way and help teachers to recognize and guide the pupils with this kind of problems towards competent authorities.
