The author of the article meditates on the massive volume Dimitrie Gusti and his collaborators, Cornova 1931 (edition cared by Marin Diaconu, Zoltan Rostas and Vasile Soimaru. Quant publishing house, Chisinau, 2011, 852 pp.), the latest contributionthat includes studies resulted from the study of Cornova, a forest village, by a team of researchers from Dimitrie Gusti’s Bucharest School of Sociology in 1931. As many
