The article discusses the features of the demographic situation in the rural areas of Transnistria since 1990 to 2012. The analysis showed that the region is depopulate, and its highest rates are typical for rural areas. Migration processes of the rural
population are largely inferior to the urban areas. Indicators of natural movement in rural areas are particularly acute: the death rate exceeds the birth rate. The component of reproduction is represented by the intensity of marriage in the city and the village, which runs on the background of a high risk of dissolution of marriages. |
