Pavel Rivilis is one of the most important musicians in the Republic of Moldova. He worked as a music editor, professor and composer. He constantly studied classical and contemporary music in order to improve his own techniques. He also studied the Moldavian folklore and used it as a source of inspiration in one of his compositions. He prefers to write symphonies and he made his way by creating his own distinct style.
