Today, in the age of the internet and borderless communications, it seems hard to imagine that a century ago there was not even a radio station in our country. This study is an attempt to outline, based on documents and photographs discovered in the National Radio Museum of the State Company TeleradioMoldova, recently chronologically classified documents, which allow us the evolution over the years of Radio Moldova and the analysis of the policy of the MSSR authorities. Politically, the national radio, was used as an important tool for the Soviet nomenclature which was duplicitous and ambiguous at the time, and which operated under unwritten laws, strengthened by the party and state apparatus, based on on the propagation by coercion in the MSSR space of communist and comsomolist values. At the same time, by broadcasting various educational and cultural shows on the radio, we notice that some of the artists have managed to preserve and pass on that specific nationality of the Bessarabians, as history, traditions and language, which has kept our national identity in the consciousness of the masses.
