Rezumat

One of the most important transformations of economic reforms in the Republic of Moldova lies in the formation and development of the credit-investment potential of small and medium-sized enterprises as a key social and economical element that ensures sustainable economic growth and the success of structural reforms in the country. The non-critical analysis and experience of Western countries in the development of small and medium enterprises, the academic apotheosis of which the Republic of Moldova has become the “shock therapy” harmonious scientific theory, which called for conceptual adjustments of market reforms, in terms of the formation of the business environment of small business, which was practically non-existent in areas of economic reproduction and circulation. As the development of small and medium-sized businesses and the emergence of conditions for investment of funds in various fields of the economy, by expanding the domestic consumer market, the base factor that stagnated the investment activity of small and medium enterprises was the inaccessibility of financial-credit resources, their high and short term, as well as the complexity of the foundation of investment projects. The sharp differentiation of production profitability, financial and commercial capital, the high risks and the extremely difficult availability of credit-investment sources for the development of small business blocks the investment interests of small businesses in the production domain
