Manager´s task is to plan, manage and control all activities within an enterprise to achieve stated business goals. These targets may be sensitive to the influences of both external environment and internal situation of the company. Therefore management decisions are associated with certain risks that should be identified, monitored and possibly eliminated. This activity, known as risk management, requires a responsible approach of managers at all management levels. Most problems probably occur in the definition and classification of potential risks. It is very difficult to cover all possible threats and to establish a comprehensive overview. The aim of this paper is to describe the decision making process related to risk management.
