The potable water of Kavala city has been extensively studied in relation to the quality through systematic chemical-physical analysis in recent years by the Kavala Municipal Service for Water Supply and Sewage (DEYAK). Initially, a historical review was made concerning the city and how the construction of the water supply system began. Next, records were collected from previous years to the present day, for the quality of the potable water of Kavala and the surrounding villages from the website of DEYAK. By comparing the results of analyses to the EC legislation of potable water it can be concluded that Kavala city drinking water completely satisfies the regulations. Acknowledgement: The documentation study was performed within the project BSB 27-MONITOX. |
